We've got some exciting news which you can probably already tell - our brand new Web site has finally arrived. Our new look has been a work in progress and we've used feedback from our members (just like you) and our great sponsors (notice Gulf States Toyota has taken the amazing step to not only be our presenting sponsor of our Web site AND this here newsletter). We want to thank you for all the input and loyalty you've given to Charity Chicks over the years and a BIG time thanks to April Guzik & Roger Sullivan for creating this new look. So again, just like an Oscar acceptance speech, we'll say it over and over and over - THANK YOU.
A few things to notice on our new Web site:
The BLOG - Hello two-thousand and almost twelve - we finally have a blog. Jayme will be blogging up a storm (which fits nicely since it's now her career of choice) about things local, national, inspiration and whatever she deems chicky. If you have ideas or things you'd like featured on our blog, no promises, but please email us with subject "Jayme BLOG". Our new blog is courtesy of our amazing friends at iCatching Events - stay tuned as they'll be one of our first blogs and we can't wait to share it with you.
PEEPS - For the guys in our group - we heard you LOUD and CLEAR. You were tired of the pink and the hearts - we got it. So we teamed up with a few prominent peeps to create a new page for you. The look is a little different and we're thankful you stuck with us during our pink phase. Here's what we need though - a PEEP in charge. There is no pay, but we need a dude to help sign up our other guys for flag football and some fun stuff. Interested? Email us.
Hello Advertisers. Since day one, us chicks in charge have been footing the bill to run this group, and finally, we have advertising to help pay our small overhead. We'll be dedicating some blog posts, tweets and other social media pieces to these groups, so stay tuned. If you're interested in some great affordable advertising to reach your target market, you can learn more here.
"I can no other answer make, but Thanks, and Thanks."
Jayme and Tam'ra (and of course, Shakespeare)

This is a 5k, 10k, or 1-mile family run taking place THIS SATURDAY at Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy and the event is to help bring an end to human trafficking. Some of our best chicks devote a lot of time and energy to this worthy cause, so if you have time or want to throw on your running shoes, please check it out.
