The
Bras Are Back!
The chicks and peeps of Charity Chicks Houston are preparing for the
2nd Annual BRAtober, which includes the much anticipated BRA ART
competition. BRA ART is simple: getting creative for cancer
prevention. Decorate a bra (a new bra) in any color, size and
way you want. Pick a theme, make it fun, make it
statement-worthy. Make it yours.
Who says skivvies can't
cure cancer? Or at least help? All
proceeds from BRA ART go to Bright Pink, a national nonprofit
organization that provides education and support for young women who
are at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer.
You
can do your creative crafting on your own, or form a team of folks from
work, your book club, your sorority alumni chapter. The BRA ART
competition is open to individuals, groups, organizations - no limit to
how many people who can be involved in creating a bra!

enter the BRA ART competition, donate $30 using the "donate" button
below and you'll receive an email on how and where to submit your work
of art.

Need some
inspiration? Last year, we showcased 50 bras and were
genuinely amazed at the bras that were submitted and humbled by the
witty and creative nature of our supporters.
Though the actual event and contest will be held in Houston, anyone
from anywhere (read: you)
can enter. We'll let you know where you can ship your entry, and
we'd love to see you here in Houston for the event. If you can't
make it, no worries, we'll take tons of photos and post on our website
soon after.
